Calvin hunts golems. Big, ugly, “made-of-clay-and-bad-attitude” golems. It’s all in a night’s work for the youngest member of the secret organization known as The Prague Vanguard — the people who stop ancient horrors from flattening tourists and ruining the architecture.
But when a sacred amulet is stolen and the golems are corrupted, Calvin’s world tilts sideways. Suddenly, he’s saddled with a mysterious Daywalker partner (who insists she’s “not that kind of vampire”), a legendary mace, and a conspiracy buried deep under Prague’s cobblestone streets.
